I found myself wanting some sort of way to turn off or blank out the display on my illustration tablet screen. In summer, it can get a little hot, and can be distracting in the dark when watching a movie. Every answer I could find suggested to just turn it off or use a screensaver... 

but when you turn it off, currently running programs migrate to other screens and clutter things up, and it can mess with a multi-monitor setup. Screensavers disable themselves if you're using your mouse or otherwise working on one of your other screens.

So I created a simple app in godot that, when ran on your tablet monitor desktop, turns the screen black, until you hit the escape key!

how to use: 

place the tabletsaver.exe on the desktop of your tablet screen. Simply run it, and it will turn your screen black, by running a program in fullscreen mode. To close the program, simply hover/click over that screen and hit the escape key and it will auto-close. 

very simple and easy!
